Did anyone buy this painting from an OP SHOP at Mitcham recently ?? Well it accidentally ended up there and the old owners are willing to pay thousands to get it back !!!
I just got this message …. ⬇️⬇️⬇️
Hi Cosi, I was wondering if you may be able to help me out with a post! Totally understand if it’s not up your alley but thought I’d give it try.
I moved from Adelaide to Sydney a few years ago and left a painting of mine in my brother’s safe keeping. At some point, his wife did some decluttering and, thinking I didn’t want it anymore, donated it to an op-shop in the Mitcham area and we only just figured it out over the Easter weekend. Needless to say I was devastated.
This artwork was by a prominent
Indigenous artist and I bought it directly from the artist when I was working as a doctor at the Alice Springs Hospital in 2015. Spending time in the NT was such a positive experience, all the people I met and the culture I learned about and the magnificent country I got to see - this painting embodied that for me and was always going to be something I cherished. Now I have no idea where it is! It was donated to an op-shop in the Mitcham area, so I’m hoping someone in the area may have bought it (anytime in the last few years) and be currently admiring it on their wall…
I’m desperate to get it back and am trying to reach as many South Aussies as possible who may recognise it. I’m always willing to pay a big reward ($1000s).
Not a problem if you can’t help with a shout out, but thought I’d try. Thanks, Maddie ... See MoreSee Less

Easter long weekend - one of our favourite times of the year!
But did you know the coastal drowning risk is more than 10X GREATER over the Easter long weekend compared to non-holiday periods?! These are scary stats, so let's take action to ensure we stay safe this weekend.
If you're heading to the beach, please make sure to swim at a patrolled location during a patrolled time between the red and yellow flags. Download the www.beachsafe.org.au app to find your nearest location.
Plan ahead, avoid swimming and alcohol/drugs, and always be aware of your surroundings, especially when using inflatables. Supervise children in, on and around the water, and wear a lifejacket when boating, rock fishing or paddling.
Most importantly, look out for each other always ❤💛 ... See MoreSee Less
